My Guitars-Their Music is an eclectic compilation of 21 solo and ensemble recordings made over 27 years, featuring nine performers playing nine Mello classical and steel string guitars.

The repertoire includes compositions by thr performing artists, a Brazilian lullaby, a Shaker hymn, and works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Scott Joplin, Gustav Holst, Fats Waller, Francisco Tarrega, George and Ira Gershwin, Stephen Foster, Sid Wayne and Philip Springer, Reginald Smith-Brindle, and Irving Berlin. On some tacks the guitars are variously joined by vocals, cello, tenor sax, kena kenacho, flute, oboe, harp, and percussion.

The collection draws on many genres to present a varied yet cohesive listening experience-alternately soothing, surprising, and challenging.
The CD is available at my shop, at a few local stores during the winter holidays, at festivals, or by mail, with 100 % of all proceeds going to targeted non profits. In its four pressings it’s passed thousands of generous conttibutors’ dollars to worthy causes.
